Privacy Policy

My practice is built on trust and transparency—including how this website operates. This page explains, in plain English, the main tools that process information and how I use that information.

Website Analytics

This site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to measure page usage and performance. In production, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) may also measure how visitors use the site. PostHog is configured and may be enabled for product analytics. Depending on which tools are active, the information collected may include:

  • How you found the site (search engine, ad, or direct link)
  • Which pages you visit, how far you scroll, and for how long
  • The type of device and browser you’re using
  • Interaction data, including session replays when that PostHog feature is enabled, which I use to make the site clearer and more useful
  • If you use the optional fit check, the answer choices you make or change, your progress and time through the questions, the result shown, and whether you bypass the questions for the application form

During ordinary browsing, this site does not ask for your name or email address. Analytics providers may still use cookies and device or session identifiers. If you send me an application, the email address you provide is linked to your visit so I can read your inquiry in context and respond well.

When PostHog is enabled and you submit an inquiry, it may receive your email address, attribution values, analytics identifier, and IP address so the request can be connected to the website session that preceded it. If session replay is enabled, typed input values remain masked.

Optional Fit Check

The fit check is optional, and you can see the result without providing an email address. Its questions use defined answer choices rather than asking for a student’s name, diagnosis, school records, or a written account of the situation. I use the interaction data described above to understand where families find the experience useful or unclear.

The fit check itself has no contact fields and does not submit a separate snapshot to me. If you later choose to use the standard application form, that inquiry is processed as described below. The visit context linked to the application may include your earlier fit-check interaction data.

Advertising and Measurement

I use Google Ads to reach families who may be looking for exactly this kind of work. To know which ads actually help families find me, I do two things:

  • If you arrived from an ad, the ad-click identifier Google attaches to your visit is recorded with your application
  • Depending on the current Google Ads configuration, conversion measurement may use the email you submit in hashed form through Google's Enhanced Conversions program

Google may use cookies and ad-click identifiers for campaign and conversion measurement. I have disabled ad-personalization signals and Google Signals for this site. I do not use visitor or inquiry data for remarketing, Customer Match, first-party audiences, or personalized-ad audiences. You can control your ad preferences directly with Google using the links below.

Your Application and Scheduling

When you submit the application form, it is processed by Formcarry, a form-delivery service, and arrives in my inbox. If you book a call, scheduling runs on Cal.com. I use the information you provide to evaluate your inquiry, reply personally, arrange a conversation, and measure which outreach led to an inquiry as described above.

Tutoring Session Recordings

Sessions with enrolled families are recorded and transcribed in Zoom as part of the service. Zoom stores the video in my account and produces a transcript. I store transcripts in a private Google account that I control; I am the only person in the practice with access to that account.

I use transcript text and related student-record information to prepare parent summaries, create guide material for students, plan future sessions, review my own teaching, and organize each student’s ongoing record. Paid AI services may process that text and information in support of the work. I use paid accounts and opt out of having this data used to train the providers’ models. Technology supports my judgment; it does not replace it.

I do not sell or rent session recordings, transcripts, or student information.

Family and Professional Communication

Students need room to speak candidly. Ordinary venting or personal comments that I do not believe are material to a student’s well-being or academic situation generally remain between the student and me. If I believe something is materially consequential to either, I bring it to a parent or guardian’s attention. This is an educational relationship, not therapist-client confidentiality.

When a psychologist, evaluator, therapist, educational consultant, or another professional refers a family, I may provide high-level progress updates with the family’s permission. Detailed or sensitive information remains for the student and family to decide whether to share. My role remains academic; I do not provide clinical case management.

SMS/Text Messaging

I sometimes follow up with families via text message, but only after receiving clear permission—either through a form, in conversation, or if you explicitly opt in.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

If you’d like to stop receiving texts, just reply “STOP” at any time.

My Guiding Principle

I use analytics to understand site performance and measure which outreach leads to a genuine inquiry. Before you inquire, analytics data may be associated with cookies, device identifiers, or a session identifier rather than contact details. When you choose to inquire, I may review visit context linked to your request, including a PostHog session replay if that feature is enabled.

I do not sell or rent your personal information. I disclose information to the service providers described on this page as needed to host and measure the website, respond to inquiries, schedule calls, provide tutoring materials, and measure advertising.
